Message frequency varies by service:

Clinical patients: up to 3 texts per week

Disc University participants: 1–2 texts per week

Professional coaching clients: up to 3 texts per week

Your carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply.

9. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including:

Encrypted transmission when supported;

Secure storage and restricted internal access;

Routine deletion of obsolete message logs.

Despite best efforts, SMS technology cannot be guaranteed 100% secure, and by consenting you acknowledge this limitation.

10. Health Information & HIPAA Notice (U.S.)

For U.S. patients, we comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
We will not disclose protected health information (PHI) via text without your written authorization acknowledging that standard texting may pose limited privacy risks (e.g., others viewing messages on your phone).

11. International Data Rights

If you are outside the United States, you have the right to:

Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data;

Withdraw consent at any time;

Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

We process your data in accordance with applicable international laws and may transfer it securely to the United States for processing.

12. Data Retention

Message content and related logs are kept only as long as needed for:

Documentation of your care, coaching, or business relationship; or

Compliance with legal or regulatory record-keeping (typically 6 years in the U.S.).

After that, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

13. Children’s Privacy

Our SMS services are not directed toward children under 16. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has subscribed may contact us to request deletion.

14. Policy Updates

We may revise this policy periodically to comply with evolving laws and best practices. Updates will appear on our websites and take effect immediately upon posting.
